Where to look
Lynn’s notes
Backing a camper into a tight site or navigating busy highway traffic can get stressful fast, which is why having reliable eyes around the rig makes such a difference. Because this rear camera mounts directly to existing Furrion pre-wired brackets, getting the back view set up is straightforward and skips the headache of extensive drilling. Just remember that while the 2.4GHz video signal is wireless between the cameras and the display, each camera and the 7-inch monitor still need to be wired into a 12–24V power source.
The 7-inch IPS monitor can show up to four camera feeds at once on a split screen, complete with parking guidelines to help you gauge your space. We appreciate thoughtful details like the auto-dimming screen that adjusts its brightness so you aren't blinded during nighttime hauls, as well as the IP69 waterproof rating and automatic infrared night vision on both the rear and side cameras.
A practical heads-up before you install: while the rear camera fits the standard Furrion bracket, the side cameras do require drilling to mount. Also, if you tow with a newer Chevy, GMC, or Ford that uses PWM power signals on its lighting circuits, you may need a 7-way adapter to keep the power steady and flicker-free. Pop an SD card in for the loop recording feature, and you've got solid peace of mind wherever the road takes you.
