DJI Osmo Mobile 7 Gimbal Stabilizer for iPhone & Android, 3-Axis Gimbal

I grabbed the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 and it’s a lightweight, super steady gimbal that made my iPhone footage feel like a pro shoot. It’s great for quick trips, but the app hiccup on Android is a real snag.

Lynn’s notes
I tested the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 on a weekend hike and the 300‑gram weight felt almost like a feather, so I could hold it for hours and the built‑in tripod made solo shooting a breeze. The 7th‑gen stabilization and ActiveTrack 7.0 kept my moving subjects razor‑sharp, even when I was sprinting up a trail.
The catch is the DJI Mimo app is no longer on Google Play, so Android users have to download it from the DJI website. That extra step can be annoying if you’re in the middle of a shoot and need quick access to ShotGuides.
Overall, the gimbal’s portability, battery life, and smooth tracking make it a solid choice for travel and outdoor content creators, but the app availability issue is the one trade‑off that keeps me from giving it a perfect score.
