Lynn’s notes
Being able to keep roof vents open without worrying about sudden weather changes makes a massive difference in RV comfort. We picked up the Dometic Ultra Breeze cover to protect our Fan-Tastic Vent, and we really appreciate that it does so without compromising the vent's airflow.
The installation is refreshingly straightforward. All the mounting hardware is included in the box, and it mounts cleanly onto standard 14-inch by 14-inch openings—either in standard or clamp-mount setups—without having to drill any holes into your roof.
It is made of tough HDPE with UV protection to handle sun exposure over time, and the reverse angled grill provides solid extra weather resistance. If you travel through areas with a lot of nesting bugs, you can also pick up a separate bug screen down the road to clip right in.
