I love the Insta360 GO 3S for its 4K hands‑free shots and insane portability, but the Action Pod’s lack of waterproofing limits my underwater adventures.

Lynn’s notes
I tested the Insta360 GO 3S on a recent road trip and was blown away by how light it is—just 1.4oz—yet it still pulls 4K footage that feels surprisingly crisp. The FlowState Stabilization keeps my POV shots smooth even when I’m juggling a backpack, and the 140‑minute battery life means I can shoot all day without hunting for a charger.
The real catch is the Action Pod. While the magnetic design lets me mount the camera on almost anything, the Pod isn’t waterproof, so I can’t use it to capture underwater footage. I had to swap to the Dive Case for that, which adds bulk and a bit of hassle.
All in all, the GO 3S is a game‑changer for on‑the‑go vloggers who want a tiny, powerful camera that doesn’t weigh them down. Just keep in mind the Action Pod’s water limitations if you’re planning to film underwater or in wet conditions.
